Cat 6 Unshielded Module FAQ

1.What is the ZORA Cat6 Unshielded Module?

The ZORA Cat6 Unshielded Module is an RJ45 interface module designed for unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cabling. Compliant with Cat6 (TIA/EIA-568-C.2) standards, it supports Gigabit Ethernet (1Gbps) and short-range 10Gbps transmission. Its modular design fits standard patch panels or outlets for flexible networking.

2.What are the key applications?

Office Networks: Workstation outlets or patch panel terminations.

Home Wiring: Smart TVs, NAS device connectivity.

Surveillance Systems: IP camera and NVR terminations.

Education: Classroom multimedia device networking.

3. What are the technical specifications?

Standards: ANSI/TIA 568.2-D, ISO/IEC 11801.

Bandwidth: 250MHz (supports 10Gbps up to 55 meters).

Port Type: RJ45 (8P8C).

Cable Support: Cat6 UTP (23AWG or 24AWG).

Installation: Punch-down or tool-less push-in.

4.How does it differ from Cat5e modules?
