ZORA 24-port Cat 5e Shielded Modular Patch Panel
The ZORA Cat 5e Shielded Modular Patch Panel supports 1 Gbps data rates and 100 MHz frequency bandwidth, suitable for Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and low-interference environments.
The aluminum foil shielding (F/UTP) and metal housing grounding technologies effectively isolate external electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, ensuring signal integrity, especially in industrial and medical environments with high interference.
Rack Mounting:Secure the patch panel to a 19-inch standard rack using the provided screws.
Stripping & Ordering:Use a specialized tool to remove ~2.5 cm of cable jacket, preserving the shield. Arrange wire pairs according to T568A or T568B standards, keeping twists intact.
Grounding:Connect the shield to the patch panel’s metal housing and secure with a grounding screw.
Termination:Use 110 or KRONE punch-down tools to press wires into IDC terminals for a solid connection.
It supports 22-26 AWG shielded twisted pair (STP/S-FTP) cables. For optimal performance, use Cat 5e or Cat 6 shielded cables.
Use a Fluke network tester to check wire order, impedance, attenuation, and crosstalk, ensuring compliance with Cat 5e standards.
Yes, it may reduce EMI resistance, causing signal attenuation or packet loss. Ensure both ends of the shield are properly grounded.
